mz robolab was established in November 1999 in Rheinbach near Bonn, the former capital of Germany. Before the foundation of the company, the founders and scientists, Dr. Volker Zahn and Dr. Rüdiger Maaß, had been working at the University of Bonn for several years, and established the basis for these new innovations.

mz robolab is the first winner of the regional Start-Up competition 2000 of the region Bonn/Rhein-Sieg and winner of the Federal Start-Up competition 2001, announced by the regional savings banks, McKinsey and the magazine "Stern".

Our company is in a dynamic period of growth and gains a tremendous acceptance from different industries, e.g. automotive, ship building, rail car building.
